Study Abroad: Holy Crap Pt. 2
Week 1: What up, Danes?
"The first week, you will feel as if you've made a terrible decision and you have no idea what the hell you're doing there. But then it just gets f***ing awesome" -my brother on studying abroad
Reppin' theLala during my layover in London. Traveling for 28 hours straight with only an hour of sleep is obviously the best hidden beauty secret in the world. 💁
According to my program orientation, bicycles are hella relevant in Copenhagen. I'm not that graceful on two wheels, so we'll see how that goes.
The best part about having my dad come with me for the first week has been the food. Mike loves a good meal so I've been very well fed. However, the time difference means his work calls/virtual meetings concur with dinner time so most of the time we look like ^that.
First night out: Check.
I'm not a complete loser! I made friends! After heading to the student run bar, Studenterhuset, we quickly learned one of the best Copenhagen sight-seeing attractions is the men. The night was complete with trays of shots (in order to make new friends) and Shawarma to go around (in order to talk about our new foes).
It's going to be a good semester, to say the least. To make sure I get the most out of it, I've made a short bucket list:
Do a little dance
Make a little love
Get down tonight
Right then. Catch you next week, ya filthy animals.
